Body Lotion: Compared to body butter, body lotion has a higher water content and a more liquid consistency. It's lighter and less greasy than body butter, making it suitable for normal to slightly dry skin or for use in humid conditions where heavy products can feel too much.
Body Butter: Body butter is thicker and creamier; it tends to leave a layer of product on the skin's surface, which can benefit people who have sensitive skin that needs extra protection. This thickness is due to its high content of plant-derived oils or fatty acids, like shea butter, which offer deeper hydration. Our formula was designed with your face in mind, we recommend to use it very sparingly before bed. Applying too much as it's quite heavy and may clog pores, leading to breakouts, particularly if you have acne-prone or oily skin.

Yes, because body butter is formulated with natural ingredients, it can expire. We do add natural preservatives to fight off any bacteria and mold, it's best not to introduce any water to the jar, use a clean scooper to remove the butter first (we include a scoop). Best before 12 months once opened.

This is among my favourite Lathr products, and that is stiff competition. I get so many compliments when using, especially when layered with the same EDP.

I usually only use a lotion during winter months as my skin can get dry and itchy. Been using Lathr products for a while so figured I’d give the body butter cream a try. Smells amazing and quenches the skin. Wife noticed the scent as well and loved it. Highly recommend this one!
