Care Instructions:

While a soap dish significantly extends the life of your handcrafted soaps, did you know that it is possible to also extend the life of your handcrafted natural wood soap dishes? To significantly extend the life of your soap dish, I encourage you to use soap dishes in pairs. Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, and then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the first dish dries out, and then alternate them this way. Allowing dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent mold and mildew from developing and it will prevent wood from becoming waterlogged and rotting. This will greatly increase the life of a soap dish!
