Cold-process soap is made by combining oils with an alkali to create soap through a process called saponification. The bars are then given time to cure, helping them become harder and longer lasting.

We recommend using our soap bars on the body rather than the face.
Traditional soap bars generally have a higher pH than facial skin, which can leave the face feeling dry or tight and may disrupt its natural moisture barrier, especially with frequent use. Some of our bars also contain exfoliating grit or stronger fragrance profiles that are better suited for body skin.
For your face, we recommend using a dedicated facial cleanser formulated to clean without over-stripping the skin.

Bought this a while ago and forgot about it. Found it and took it on a trip to Alberta. Went out for a hike in the mountains and sprayed some on and while everyone else was attacked by all sorts of bugs the most bugs did to me was land on me for a second and then take off. Definitely has a mosquito unfriendly scent. Using the soap and the balm seems to be working at keeping daytime mosquitoes away. Have yet to try it on prime time mosquitoes

I went out paddleboarding a few weeks ago and got eaten alive so I thought I'd try Frank's magic to see if it works.
Not only did it work flawlessly, it's one of my favourite smells, goes on really well, lasts ages without needing to constantly re apply.
My only gripe? No aftershave to match 😆

I tried to use leftover in OFF spray but it was not strong to deter any nasty fly or mosquito. I found out Lathr added new item: deet-free natural spray. Oh, boy, I was overjoyed to get it and it really worked! A fly hovered above my arm but not dare to suck my blood. Thank you for the brilliant addition!

I was skeptical at first but I’m a believer now. The soap not only smelled incredible but also cut down by 3/4 the amount of mosquito bites we received after camping all week in the July heat.

So far I’ve tried the barber shop and the buzz off soap. I’m very impressed with packaging, delivery and of course the soap itself. The scents are not overwhelming and leaves me smelling great all day. The barbershop soap smells like I’m fresh off the barber’s chair. The buzz off soap is great for the washing up at the cottage . These soaps are great and I really recommended them to family and friends. Now I have a great idea for gifts this Christmas and birthdays.
