Riviera Nights is a VERY complex scent. Extremely floral right off the top but quickly mellows into a fresh, bright, citrusy sweetness before settling into more earthy patchouli and tonka bean notes.

The notes and part of the description suggest this will be a very incensy dark woods for a late evening date, but its got SUCH a good balance of things, it's incredible. A true masterclass in making a fragrance
It starts a bit dark but soon evolves into a very nice freshness from the Melon. The Melon itself isn't synthetic or overly juicy you see in most Middle Eastern stuff, its a bit dry and fresh, like grocery fresh. It then leans to a dark, roasted tonka bean facet with some sweet lavender kicking in and a bit for green freshness I'm guessing from the pineapple leaf.
Very, very classy smelling, and perhaps my favorite out of all LATHR frags so far (I have 15). Unique, lost lasting, blind buy and backup bottle worthy
