Frank made the first batches at home. Kitchen, then the basement, then the garage. It wasn't a business plan. Everything on the shelf either smelled like a hotel lobby or wrecked his skin, so he made his own.
Friends asked for bars. Then their friends did. Then we ran out of garage.
Now we're in a shop in Woodbridge, Ontario. Same recipes. More racks.
Deodorant. Cologne. Tallow skincare. Body butters. Buzz Off. Complete shaving and beard care line. We blend some of our own fragrances with essential oils, accords and resins.
Our cold process soap formula blended & poured, molded and cut at the lab. Then it comes back here and cures on our racks for weeks before it ships. Every bar passes through the shop. That cure is why our bars last 3 to 4 weeks instead of falling apart.
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Hair care needs equipment and testing we don't have in our shop in Woodbridge, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
Sharon (camera shy) is our chemist. She's the reason our formulas work and the reason we stopped guessing. Frank writes the scents. Sharon makes sure they behave & importantly approved by FDA & Cosmetic Regulations.
