Cold-process soap is made by combining oils with an alkali to create soap through a process called saponification. The bars are then given time to cure, helping them become harder and longer lasting.

We recommend using our soap bars on the body rather than the face.
Traditional soap bars generally have a higher pH than facial skin, which can leave the face feeling dry or tight and may disrupt its natural moisture barrier, especially with frequent use. Some of our bars also contain exfoliating grit or stronger fragrance profiles that are better suited for body skin.
For your face, we recommend using a dedicated facial cleanser formulated to clean without over-stripping the skin.

Just loving all the lathr products not to mention all of their body bubutter. The consistancy is spot on and not greasy at all. Love to buddy the whole body up, just feels amazing. Check it out, the ladies will be flocking to you once they know where the smell is comming from. Carefull they might try steal you Lathr bars tho.

Lathr's Frosted Oak is one of my favourites from their collection. It's a scent that isn't overpowering and still helps wake you up in the morning. I like grit in my soap with the dry climate where I live and the Icelandic sand provides the right amount of grit. The roughness leaves me feeling clean and exfoliated and not feeling like I just lost a fight with my cat (which has happened with some other brands).
