Definitely would recommend this for using on dry hands. The scent is a light citrus with some clove spice but very subtle. I LOVE that this isn't greasy...at all. The powdery feel finish from the arrowroot is what you get instead. Lathr's Body Butter Creams and especially the Beef Tallow Skin Balm are VERY heavy for using on the hands, so this is a great alternative for those dry, cold winters without feeling greasy or sticky.
Bought this as I wanted a seasonal scent, wasn't sure to expect. While I haven't used it, it smells exactly like candy hearts. I could eat this, looking forward to using it next over the XMAS holidays!
